This one is just okay. I wasn't a huge fan of the sauce, but the veggies were good. The chicken tasted.... processed. It wasn't just a chicken breast, it had been processed. This isn't necessarily a downfall of it, but I could tell.

I probably won't buy this one again though. I just didn't like it enough to want to get it again.

However, I will say that if you get it, I suggest having a salad or extra steamed veggies on the side. It is very small portions, smaller than most lean cuisine meals, so unless you are used to this small of a meal you will be hungry in a few hours.

Frozen BBQ Chicken

Image of Sweet & Tangy Chicken BBQ

For lunch today I had:

Sweet & Tangy Chicken BBQ

Enjoy moist chicken tenderloins in our sweet and tangy barbecue sauce. With summertime favorites such as our sweet-corn blend, red-skin potatoes, and caramel-apple multigrain crisp, this meal will relax your senses regardless of the season.

This is the 2nd time that I have purchased this meal. It is probably one of my favorite Healthy Choice dinners available. The chicken has a really good flavor thanks to the BBQ sauce, which is sweet but also has a tangy (haha thus the name!) taste to it. It is just really good BBQ sauce for a low calorie meal. The chicken is also really tender and just tasted great. The potatoes and corn needed salt and pepper, but not very much Both sides tasted as they should.

The caramel apple dessert has always been one of my favorites with Healthy Choice, since they used to use it with almost every meal. This one is no different. There really isn't an apple taste with this one, as you mostly taste the caramel sauce that they have on the apples.

I will definitely buy this again.

No lie though, the first one I bought had no chicken in it! Somehow it got past quality control with absolutely no chicken in the meal what so ever. LOL

Snack food post!

Woo you get two posts today! Okay so this one isn't a meal at all. This post will be about a snack that I have recently come to LOVE.

The Snack: Special K Cracker Chips - Sour Cream and Onion
27 Chips = 110 calories
3g of Fiber

These chips are really good! They have the same kind of.... airy taste that Baked Lays have. They are still as filling and good tasting as a regular chip. I think they're a little bit better than the Baked Lays version.

I find that making pre-portioned baggies helps me to not overeat them. For example, I got a big box of them at Sam's (like a Costco) and dumped them into a gallon Ziploc baggie. Then I portioned about 27 or so into the smaller sandwich bags and that's what I eat from. I take those bags in my lunch with no worries of pigging out on the chips!

I'd definitely recommend you go buy these if you like chips but hate how horribly high in calories most chips are.

While on this subject, the Ritz Cracker Chips are good as well, but they aren't as healthy... I don't think.
